A picture’s worth a thousand words, but we wanted it short and sweet. So here’s their captioned most memorable moments with their, or as a, mother.
We are wearing the same pyjamas in the house. I bought the pyjamas first and my daughter said: Mummy, can I have the same pyjamas as you? I want to have the same pyjamas!” In the end, I bought another same design (Unicorn) pyjamas. In fact, we always wear the same design shirts when we go out.
Youth fades; love droops; the leaves of friendship fall; A mother’s secret hope outlives them all.
This is a picture of me with my two Mummys on the day I got engaged.
Fast forward 22 years later, I would learn how to blend Malay and Kiwi values from both my Mummys and adopt the very best of both cultures to become the best possible wife to my husband and mother to my own two children.
